The Lucille Stineman Legacy Award honors a current CBL member whose service reflects the founding spirit of Children’s Benefit League of Long Beach.

Established in honor of Lucille Stineman, CBL’s founding president, this award recognizes a member whose dedication, leadership, and compassion continue to advance CBL’s mission and carry its legacy forward.
​
As we celebrate CBL’s 80th Anniversary, this award serves as a tribute to the women whose vision began our organization and to the members who continue to strengthen its future through service, generosity, and heart.
NOMINEE
Current members in good standing are eligible to be nominated. Members will be considereed on the following points:

whose service reflects the original vision of CBL’s founding members,
-
embodies the pillars of the organization
-
demonstrates meaningful service, leadership, and dedication to the organization
-
helps advance CBL’s mission in ways that create lasting impact
-
shows the passion and vision to help carry CBL’s legacy into the future

Self-nominations will be disqualified.
NOMINATIONS
Members and affiliates are invited to nominate a current member by submitting their nominations online (a paper nomination form is available upon request). Nominations are due by January 15, 2027.
SELECTION PROCESS
Current members who are in good standing are eligible to be nominated. Nominations will be reviewed and selected by the Board of Directors in February 2027. The recipient will be notified prior to the Gala and will receive special recognition at the Gala as well as be featured in the Gala program.
