Tim Sailor Legacy Award

The Tim Sailor Legacy Award honors the memory of Tim Sailor, a beloved former board member and mentor who dedicated over two decades of his life to supporting The Guidance Center. The award is given to those who carry on his legacy of championing positive, meaningful change within the community

The Children's Benefit League was awarded the 2026 Tim Sailor Legacy Award. This award is presented annually by The Guidance Center in Long Beach, California, to honor individuals and organizations demonstrating an outstanding, lifelong commitment to children's mental health, community service, and compassion.

CBL was presented with The Tim Sailor Legacy Award for its eight decades of service supporting children's health and well-being.  The award was presented at The Guidance Center's annual Sunset Sip: 80 Years of Impact gala on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at The Maya Hotel in Long Beach.  Jona Howe, president accepted the award on behalf of CBL.  Members and Board were present at the event.
